Service

When I first entered the hotel, the porter was not there to help me with the luggage, so I was not sure how good of a service I can expect from the hotel staff, however, the receptionist was overly kind and helpful and everyone I met in the hotel ensured that I had a pleasant stay. Overall, I believe the hotel staff is well trained, helpful and friendly. Sometimes, the first impression can be wrong. Overall experience was very good.

 Rooms

Guests have to take one of the three colorfully lit elevators in order to get up to the room. One elevator is lit up with orange, another one is with green and another one with violet light. The designer wanted to make the visitor feel like he is stepping into a decompression chamber, when he enters the elevator.

The DJ plays great music and a crowd is glamorous. According to the legend, the bar was made out of a single redwood tree. The room has monochromatic furniture to allow the visitor to focus on the wooden walls instead of the furnishing. This is the best bar of any San Francisco boutique hotels.
