Cavo Tagoo is the priciest, most exclusive hotel in Mykonos. We were fortunate enough to stay in its mini-suite for a few nights during our stay in Mykonos. This hotel is an absolute dream. It offers suites and villas of different sizes to serve everyone’s needs. The hotel is on the cliff side of the hill overlooking the sea. It is about 10 minutes drive away from the Old Port of Mykonos. The only one thing not ideal about the hotel is its distance from the city centre. You always have to get taxis to drive you up and down from the city centre to the hotel. The hotel is spectacular. However, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that takes people to the center and to the beach.
The receptionists wear a beautiful white uniform. They are friendly, helpful and speak good English.
The hotel’s interior in the lobby reminds me of an Asian resort, with Buddha statues and funky chandeliers and wooden furnishing.
The hotel features the most amazing infinity pool and a 40-metre aquarium bar. You have the best sunset views from the pool side. Even if you do not stay in the hotel, but you are in Mykonos, sunset at Cavo Tagoo by the pool is a must.
The rooms are spacious and furnished in a minimalistic style. Our mini-suite had a huge balcony with a private infinity pool. A wooden deck was floating on the surface of the pool.
The bathroom and the bedroom were white and simplistic. The bed was soft and comfortable. Overall experience was absolutely fantastic.
The Breakfast at Cavo Tagoo
The breakfast includes a selection of gourmet Greek pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, greek yogurt with honey, fruits, fruit spreads, breads, cereals. Cavo Tagoo is a real splurge and a truly luxurious experience in Mykonos. I can only recommend you this wonderful resort.
