We stayed at Tenaya Lodge during our time in the Yosemite National Park. It is a “4 Diamond” AAA rated resort and it is one of the best places to stay in Yosemite National Park. Guests usually surround the fireplace in the lobby. Some of them are drinking tea, others are doing work on their laptops. The lobby has some comfy couches and armchairs that invite the visitors. One morning we were fortunate enough to have some snow and the landscape outside looked all white and beautiful. The lobby’s large windows allowed us to have a beautiful view of an entire winter wonderland outside. The Service
The receptionist is super friendly and the doorbell is very helpful when it comes to taking the luggage upstairs. The hotel is truly excellent when it comes to service.
The Rooms
The rooms are excellent, clean, everything is fully renovated. I loved the warm colours of the room such as red, grey and wood.

Ascent Spa provides all sorts of special spa packages for the traveler, such as the brown sugar and spice spa treatments. Breakfast
Guests may have to wait a little bit for breakfast if they get to the restaurant at peak hour. The wait should not be longer than 15 minutes. The lavish choices of the breakfast buffet makes up for all the wait.

I have never seen as many different options for breakfast as this hotel has to offer. You can have four different kind of eggs, all the pastries you can imagine. My favourites were the bread pudding and the walnut covered pastry. A large selection of fruits are also available as a healthy option. The dining hall is decorated with an enormous chandelier and a beautiful fireplace in the middle. Large windows look out to the garden. If you are lucky to be there on a snowy day, you will have the wonderful experience to sit next to the fireplace and to watch the snowy winter right outside of your window while having breakfast.
Dinner
Visitors have the option to dine at the upscale Sierra Restaurant or the less expensive Jackalopes Bar and Grill for dinner.
Restaurants of the Tenaya Lodge
The menu of the two restaurants are similar, however the atmosphere is very different. While the Sierra Restaurant provides an upscale dining experience for the visitor, the Bar is casual, but a perfect place to get a quick bite after a long day of hiking. The food is excellent at both restaurants.
Tenaya Lodge at the Yosemite National Park is a real treat for families or couples. It is one of the best places to stay in Yosemite. In this wonderful establishment, where every member of the family can find a way to recharge. It is a hotel, where the friendly staff will look out for everyone’s needs and make sure to treat every guest like a family member. I can highly recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a fabulous place with a good spa and multiple options of entertainment for every member of the family.
