Things to Do in Cozumel, Mexico on a Diving Adventure

March 22, 2017

My doctor, who was a good friend of mine told me he was going to Cozumel to do some diving. He was staying at the Park Royal Cozumel All Inclusive Hotel. Diving in Cozumel, Mexico sounded like a great idea, so I booked my ticket to join him on this fabulous trip in the Caribbean. The hotel was one of the best hotels in Cozumel. There were many things to do in Cozumel and in our beautiful all inclusive hotel. We were determined to dive as many times as we could.

So I decided to tag along and do some diving with my doctor. The diving was really spectacular in Cozumel. It was one of the best things to do in Cozumel. This part of the World is known to be one of the best diving sites in the World. I saw sting rays, nurse sharks all sorts of fishes. We also saw some huge turtles. The doctor took some great underwater photos.

The water was warm and the visibility was perfect. We dove every day at least two times. We dove with the local dive shop Dive with Martin ran by local Mexican people. They were very good and their prices were really reasonable. They even made some videos for us from the dives we did with them. They took us to the most famous dive sites around Cozumel. One day we visited the famous Devil’s Throat and dove there. If you are not a diver, snorkeling in Cozumel is also an amazing experience. Swimming in one of the beautiful beaches in Cozumel is also amazing. The hotel was superb. If you are wondering what to do in Cozumel, if you are not diving. I can assure you, there are many things to do if you are staying in one of the all inclusive resorts. Not only there are many beautiful pools in the hotel, but they also serve food and drinks all day long. Once you get sick of eating at the buffet, you could book dinner in one of the many restaurants of the hotel. You could choose between Italian, French and a Mexican restaurants. The food was delicious in each one. Every night we booked dinner in a different restaurant. Every night we had some kind of show or entertainment provided in the hotel. One night there was a Mexican ritual.

There was a shaman and he decided to do some kind of magic around me. Still not sure why he picked me from the audience. He created a smoke around me and he was doing his tribal dance as I was standing there in the middle of the stage wondering what was going on. As you can tell from this photo, I was pretty intimidated by a whole thing. One of the most beautiful things about staying in this hotel was that a huge cruise ship would park right in front of the hotel by the port every morning. At night I could see how all the passengers of the cruise marched back on the cruise and the cruise took off and a new ship arrived every morning. These cruises were as big as the hotel.
